Now time to link up with my sweet giveaway partner for her Tried it Tuesday!
I'm sharing something that's been bugging me for a while! An easier method has probably always been around, but I just discovered an easier way for me last week! :)
I just love the bunting and pennant banners for my classroom!
I also like the ribbon to be threaded to finish off the look...but it's sometimes a headache! Well, I've TRIED using an Exacto knife and it's a pain to thread into that narrow slit! I've also TRIED using a regular hole puncher, but I don't like the way it lays or looks on the curves of the circular punch.
So, I got to thinking...there must be a rectangular hole punch...so, I took a field trip to Michael's and guess what? They had one! (It's not as wide as the ribbon-only 1/4"). I just hole punched the paper twice to make the rectangle larger for the ribbon to thread easily.
See how the ribbon lays flat? It makes the pennant hang straighter too!
Here is a picture of the banner in my house before I had to take it down to bring and use at school today!
This banner is part of my Happy New Year's Resolutions Pack.

I hope this tip helps someone out there who like to thread their banners!
Go check out all the great ideas linked up to Holly's blog and don't forget to enter every day!
This party is rocking until the 12th!
