New Year Blogging Resolutions & Upcoming Giveaway

My friend Diane from Fifth in the Middle is hosting a New Year's Blogging Resolution linky party and I thought I'd link up...(maybe if I put it in writing I'll be held more accountable!).

~Set aside time to blog, so it doesn’t become so stressful:
Ever since I started blogging I've wanted to make a set schedule, but it has yet to happen. I want to be more organized with my post ideas and start my posts in advance. 99% of my posts are typed at the last minute. I'd love to have at least one post done so I can "schedule" it to post, then it wouldn't seem so stressful and rushed. I also would like to be a little quicker when posting...does it take anyone else hours to post? Please tell me I'm not alone! Links, pictures, html, labeling pictures, proofing, rereading 20 times! If I have an allotted time or time limit, it will just have to get done! I HAVE to find a better balance so I don't drive myself crazy!

~Be a better reader and commenter of my favorite blogs:
I am fortunate to have met so many wonderful teachers who blog and because of my hectic schedule, I KNOW I am missing out on so many great ideas and tips! Along with my "set blogging time", I want to set aside time just to enjoy other posts and leave comments that appreciate their ideas. I KNOW I love comments, so I want to share the love!

~Get with the times and join Instagram!
I know this won't happen in the next few days, but I'm hoping by the end of the month! (Someone please come back and make sure I've followed through with this resolution!) Even my high school son uses Instagram! I just have to get a handle on everything else before I can even think of adding one more thing to my plate! I haven't even been on it because I know it will be another addiction! :)

Please check back tomorrow for a SUPER TREAT!
Head Over Heels For Teaching and Fourth Grade Flipper both reached 1,000 followers on Bloglovin'! Whoop Whoop!
